About NoteVault

A shared vault of MCA course material for students at USIC&T, built and run by a student.

Why it exists

Course material for a paper tends to live in a dozen chat groups, named differently by everyone who forwards it, and half of it turns out to be from a syllabus that changed two years ago. By the time you find the right file the exam is closer than it was.

NoteVault fixes the two things that cause that. Everything is filed against a paper from the actual syllabus — all 73 of them, from the USIC&T MCA syllabus approved on 28 July 2025 — so a paper has one shelf rather than five spellings. And nothing appears in the library until a moderator has looked at it.

How material is checked

An upload waits in a moderation queue. A moderator either verifies it, which puts it in the library, or rejects it with a reason — and a rejection opens a private thread between the author and the moderators where the file can be replaced and sent back. Nothing is deleted for being wrong the first time.

Accounts work the same way: a new sign-up waits for a moderator before the library opens to it. It is a small enough community that this is practical, and it is what keeps the vault from filling with material nobody on the course can use.

Who runs it

NoteVault is built and maintained by Visshal14, an MCA student at USIC&T. It is not an official university service, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by GGSIPU or USIC&T. The syllabus is used as a catalogue of paper names; the material is contributed by students.

It is funded by the ads on the site, which cover the server and the file storage. There is no charge to use it and there is no paid tier.

Copyright

Material is uploaded by students and is meant to be their own notes or material they are entitled to share. If something here is yours and should not be, say so using the contacts below and it will be taken down — you do not need an account to ask.

The report form is the fastest route if you have an account — it works even while your account is still waiting to be approved, and it goes straight to the moderators.
